What happens to your title when you hit 12,000 posts?

It breaks the counter and resets it to 0!

I think nothing happens. The titles change at every 2500 posts after 7500, IIRC. So, I anticipate a change at 12,500, which, at my recent posting rates, will be months away

But, 12,000 might be a reasonable goal today or tomorrow

We flew to Portland, Oregon on Wednesday afternoon and returned last night. Several hundred folks turned out for his memorial service. Amazing. Simply amazing how many lives he touched in so many positive ways. Another heartfelt thanks to all here who left a note/thoughts/prayers on this thread and/or sent me a PM.
Respectfully submitted as post #12,000.
Well, actually post #12,001 now as I duplicated it earlier on the "Vibes..." thread.

He'll want a beer, not a Bud Light.

JasonEvans posted OY that he has finally reached 10,000 posts, which is 240 more than dd. if you combine OY and CTN posts, he's way in the dust of many of us, and 12,000+ posts behind dd!

I think it's funny that he makes a big deal of it (giving it its own thread even?) yet supported the pithforks over the post count idea.

Belatedly, whatever happened in the soap opera that was Baton Bob? Curious minds want to know. Bless his heart.

Baton Bob was lectured sternly about how bad an idea it was, in this day and time, to show up unannounced at a school in a cow costume and (I assume) as a cheerleader. His case was reduced to disorderly conduct and the Court put him on good behavior for a year. When there were no further issues (I presume he went elsewhere to twirl his baton) the case was dismissed.

Yup. If anyone else had posted a "look at how many posts I have" comment/thread, it woulda disappeared in minutes.
