Defend and rebound. Defend and rebound. Relentlessly.

I am so glad to see us go to the next round - especially with the KU loss. Husband of a co-worker was telling me how much better KU was than Duke back at the beginning of december. If we go a round further, I can chuckle to myself about it. I won't say it to him or to my Jayhawk sisters. I just had to say it to someone.

The teams that scare me are the ones that have a very good athletic player that can score(alot). See McCollum from Lehigh and Derrick Williams from AZ. Michigan State didn't have any players like that. Neither does the 'ville.

So proud of our Boys last night, for advancing to the Elite 8!!!! A great team effort!!!! Seth was just a sharp shooter last night!!!! :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

Florida Gulf Coast came out strong, but ran out of gas, and their legs got weak, and the chemistry of the team, evaporated. I am sure (with the exception of the Florida Gators Fans), everyone was pulling for FGC. Very similar, to the Duke Butler game 2010.

It was obvious, in the last few minutes of the game, that the Eagles were getting chomped by the Gators. That gave the "Advance & Survive Dream" some time to sink in and digest before the 0:00 on the clock. I would think you would almost rather lose that way, vs the game of Duke/Butler 2010 or the Kansas/Michigan game last night or the Ohio State/Arizona game!

I wasn't among those rooting for FGC. Their demeanor on the court definitely turned me OFF. It was the exact opposite of a Butler. Everybody thought I was nuts not to be pulling for an underdog. But, I go for the class acts. Go Duke!

I will pull for the team that won.
I look for it to come down to a war between them and Syracuse.
Shit!
Oh well...

Men's.
The NCAA had the good taste to start the women's game at a more friendly hour.
