Mid-80's today here in South Central Texas. Others were running their air conditioners last night...

I ran it in the car this afternoon -- glad it's supposed to cool off again. I'm not ready for my 6 months of summer yet.

You know the saying "sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug"? It's another bug kind of a day. Two in one week is not fair.

On a brighter note, I just booked my flight to PA. Niece Elizabeth will be playing Grace, Daddy Warbucks' secretary, in Annie. :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

But on the L-) side, I think niece Michelle's new program started Monday and I haven't watched it yet. And didn't get the DVR set for today's show.

Bad Aunt.

Yay for niece Elizabeth! :happy-bouncyblue:

You are a fine aunt. There will be other chances to catch Michelle.

And you did manage to get 4 posts out of the deal. :duke:

Haven't been posting lately, due to mother's passing, antivirus messages that crop up nearly every time I enter the site, and now... the flu bug. Besides last night's basketball game (of which I knew nothing about until just a few minutes ago), have I missed anything lately?

Have I missed anything in the LTE? :ymblushing:

We missed you washing dishes last night, Lavabe. We won, but it was a close thing.

Hope you are feeling better. :duke:

Not really. I did try a new flavor of Pop Tart this week - Sugar Cookie. Not bad - not great.

I witnessed the full prowess of San Antonio drivers last night as I got not only the go straight from the far left - left hand turn only lane but also the left turn from the far right - straight ahead only lane. I've lived in many a city, San Antonio takes the cake.

San Antonio has the absolute worst drivers. My son and daughter live there and tell me all the time about their close calls. The times we have visited we have been fortunate not to experience the bad drivers. We will be relocating there (retirement) very shortly and am not looking forward to driving there. Gonna have to revert back to my Yankee ways and just drive aggressively. It should help that with retirement, I'll try to limit my driving to non-rush hours when the bad drivers really come out. Stay safe YMO.

My ex ran off to San Antonio. I didn't know how big it is, she told me it's the 8th largest city in the country. Enjoy the barbecued beef DF!

I like San Antonio and would like to go back some day. I cannot imagine it is the 8th largest city in the US. Maybe the 8th largest in Texas.
