Not here, yet. Two of the pets are very lethargic after their vet visits yesterday.
I actually meant the Triangle area/"neighborhood" where it was very nice being a Duke fan and a State supporter yesterday ;) .

Got plenty of whine from the stepdaughter. She was 5 points over her Weight Watchers allotment before supper, which of course meant that her dad needed to make brownies with ice cream tonight, and she could throw a fit when he didn't. :-o

Her boyfriend is unfortunately a sheep fan, but a prince otherwise (and don't tell his mama, but he pulls for Duke when he is under my roof). Stepdaughter is a nominal Wake Forest fan but hates sports and loves movies made for 13 year old girls. That would be fine if she were 13; she is 26.

Things are looking up, though. She starts work in Cary in less than a month and will move out of the spare bedroom. :9f:

This immediately made me think of a phrase regarding a fractional number and a synonym for intellect. I stopped there.

Oh my. I don't know what you're talking about, Ymo, so the phrase must apply to me as well. L-)

No as the original posts say, it is a synonym for intellect...so if you SIT a BIT, it might come to you. Your answer also has merit though...and could be considered paritally correct/accurate

One of the two local juvenile and domestic court judges announced his retirement on Friday, effective April 1. Virginia's judges are appointed by the General Assembly, not elected, so people throw their hats in the ring, so to speak, and the GA picks someone. The bar votes only to say a person is highly qualified, qualified, or unqualified.

Both PHB and our midget perv prosecutor have put their names in for consideration. PHB being in Richmond, we (the remaining prosecutors) called him to let him know about midget perv's interest.

Life will be interesting here for the next few weeks. :9f:

It will be interesting to see who the Bar votes in and then also who actually gets the nod from the GA. But at least Mr. Perv is known to the boss ;) :happy-bouncyblue:

How ironic that my colleague from the defense bar knows who the perv is. Or maybe the midget part gave it away.... :9f:
