Drove 10.5 hours yesterday and fell asleep at 9. Of course, that means I woke up at 2:45.

Could be a very long one. I'm sitting in my usual spot in the Duke ER waiting room . They just took DukeRah back. We now begin the familiar phase 2 of the waiting game. She's having terrific pain in one lower leg. We're kind of worried about a clot. If you are awake with nothing else to do, you might as well use the time for vibing.

I hope you all are getting good news. I'm praying for DukeRah and her medical team. I'm sending hugs to Ima and the OP.

We're relieved on one hand but still perplexed. None of the pictures they took in the ER showed anything frightful and yet they say there was so much swelling, they couldn't be absolutely certain. So DukeRah is propped up in bed giving it a good rest until she sees her PCP on Friday. It's still very painful, though. We're keeping fingers crossed that it all settles down with rest.

Meanwhile we are all doubling down on vibes for DD and his family. What has happened to them is just not fair.

Love, Ima

Thanks for the continued vibes. But, for now I'm letting all vibrators stand down. Seems while there is definitely something wrong, they've ruled out anything really bad. It's a complaining and compromised knee that will have to be taken care of. Love ya for caring.

Did that on Saturday. Currently taking both an antibiotic and prednisone.

2:45 a.m. and I've been awake for the last hour. That's what I get for falling asleep while watching TV.

A revival of this.
Even though it could be said that this is 'Morning', my sleep pattern is so screwy that I've been UP since 1:30. Not attempting to return to work today. Will most likely see a doctor for my only venture out of the house. I figure it's best to wait until there have been at least 24 consecutive hours of 98.6 before thinking of normal activity. Does that sound reasonable? I was over 100 degrees at 10:30 last night.
The woozey-headedness is fun...but getting old.

Good middle of the night, this morning. :9f:

Harrumph. Allegedly the dogs woke up the Rev Lawgrad, who threw a minor fit at 1:15. Not sure what the dogs were doing, because his fit woke me up, not the dogs. X( X( X( X( X(

I guess I'll read a few dozen pages of threads OY. :9f:

"Users browsing this forum, Ima Facultiwyfe and 0 guests." I guess everybody but me is snoozing away.

Lots on my mind tonight. Worries over the dangers of Ima Daughter's continued health problems and the OP's miserable arthritic back. Both are going through a lot and answers elude us.

All this while Native packs for his marvelous summer out on the left coast.

An emotional week in the news as well. Life is just one big warp and weft of celebration and sadness. Sure does yank us around, doesn't it?

OK, back to the rack, to sleep purchance to dream.
