Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Posted this elsewhere, so kinda lame, but I know a few here watch the show.
"So, I'm just watching it on DVR, but there was a factual error in last night's episode of How I Met Your Mother. About 12 to 15 minutes in...any guesses?"

Quiet around here today. Everybody must be cooking, or traveling. Me? I'm not doing either! But I plan on doing a bunch of eatin' tomorrow!

I worked. I also got my hair cut and colored, traded in my old cable boxes for HD boxes so that I can see the game tomorrow, went to the bank, went to the grocery store, and went to the Salvation Army to buy pecans for my pecan pie.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Quiet around here today. I'll start my cooking preparation tonight.

And now I'm relaxing with a glass of Pouilly-Fuissé and watching a "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo" festival on TLC.DukePA wrote:Crazie busy day!!CathyCA wrote:I worked. My sweet cousin, Judy, is here from Va. Beach. I made spaghetti sauce this morning. Kyle is also here. We had a nice dinner. Tomorrow is the big turkey day. Then, the game! GO DUKE.

Yeah, I saw that your cable company carries the AXS network, unlike Time Warner. I may have to come visit you tomorrow afternoon! Our TG dinner is at 1, and I should be through well before 2, so I can just make it to Greenville by 3:15!CathyCA wrote:I worked. Come on over and bring your appetite! Our dinner is at 7:30. It will be just Mom and me. I can set a few more plates around the table for a post-game feast.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Yeah, I saw that your cable company carries the AXS network, unlike Time Warner.
