I read Mae's obituary and saw her picture in the paper. She lived a very full life, and she had a smile that sparkled.

Thinking of her family and friends on this, her homegoing day.

Good morning. Golf Saturday!

It will be Golf Sunday for us. Today we are hitting the farmers market, and I'm barbecuing about 20 pounds o' meat for DPA's oyster roast next weekend. Good morning!

I'll play Sunday afternoon too! And today, for some strange reason, I hit the ball well and putted phenomenally well! I made 2 20' plus putts and several in the 5' to 10' range! I shot an 84, 41-43. Been a long time since I was there! Why don't I always play that well?

Vibes for your FIL, LG. Safe travels. I saw Mt. Rainer 28 years ago, from ~35000 ft., flying back from Japan. It was dawn, and the view was spectacular. The pilot even woke everyone up (it was the middle of the night for us, having left Tokyo hours earlier) to tell them to look out the window, which I was already doing.

Good morning! My drive was very nice today since Cherry Point is basically shut down for the day.
It's easier waking up on a Monday after a great weekend. We played golf yesterday, which was fun..it was 70+ out and the course was pretty empty. I bogied the first hole (which for either of us is pretty good) and got a birdie on the par 3 sixth. My first birdie on a real course...yay!
Julie did pretty decent too, she didn't give up on any holes. ;)
