Just noticed this on my facebook feed.
Ken Dennard and Art Chansky are now friends.

Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll send Kenny a bunch of "9f9f9f 's". Wonder if Chansky will notice his account password being bandied about the internet...

Wrong, on so many levels.

Maybe that's why Art Chansky has pictures of Coach K on his FB page?

A few vibes for my friend Sandy today, and her family.
Her son and foster son are going to DUKE baseball camp this weekend.

They are high school juniors. Not sure if they want to play at the D-I level, but Logan (her son) would be a good fit at Duke. He wants to become a physical therapist. (Jonah, the foster son, wants to major in girls. Not that there aren't lovely young ladies at our fair campus, but I don't think he has the academics or the study discipline.)
She will be with them. Her husband had foot surgery yesterday and is insistent on coming along despite being on a walker, so vibes also she doesn't commit murder on campus.

Mae's memorial yesterday was wonderful. The church was full. A lot of people loved her as she loved so many people.

I am so happy you were able to be there. She was a wonderful woman who was part of a warm, giving community that has welcomed our family.

Thank you Donna. What you say is so true. I love my family (and all the Craft family is included) and my friends in Kenansville.

On Saturday I smoked about 15 pounds of pork for someone's oyster roast this weekend. Mmm, bbq and slimy things.
