It's spitting snow in the Varnish Zone. Time to clean the store shelves of bread, milk, and beer.

Good point. I don't like milk unless it's chocolate, so the order should be beer, bread, chocolate milk. (We have approximately 450 little candy bars for Halloween, all some variety of chocolate, so that particular food group is in good shape.)YmoBeThere wrote:And not necessarily in that order.lawgrad91 wrote:It's spitting snow in the Varnish Zone. No trick or treaters in my neighborhood but not unexpected since it is mostly unfinished homes. Just means more candy for me! (Yes, I bought stuff I would eat just for this scenario.)

Here is the shirt you should not wear to court, especially if you are my client:
because I do not like being pulled aside by the Chief District Court Judge (also a Duke graduate) to talk about proper courtroom attire.
I told the judge during our sidebar conference that if my client had come to court yesterday, she would have arrived in shackles and an orange jumpsuit.
He told me, "She's lucky I'm letting her leave through the front door of the courthouse today."
Later, when I told my client what the judge said, she said, "That t-shirt is what I was wearing when I went to jail 45 days ago. I had to borrow these sweatpants and this wig from my mother."
I cannot make this stuff up.

At basketball games, the students would chant "Shane for President". I bet I would vote for him. Shane is my all time favoret BB player, because of "who he is".
