Rashad apologizes.

I'd find it more believable if he had shown any remorse or concern while still on the field.

At least he used the word "apologize" unlike Bubba and Larry. I guess he found an apology on Google, but it was more than his mealy-mouthed coach and AD did. :9f:

If THAT's an apology, I'll eat my fedora ! This was the all-too-familiar, disingenuous Carolina Way of spinning a more convenient tale and avoiding responsibility for one's deliberate actions. We all saw him actually throw a wallop of a punch. He admitted nothing. I'm glad he's just a freshman. The Duke players have a memory at least three more years long. It's gonna be that much tougher in the trenches for this jerk now, bless his heart.

That guy has a good chance of being selected for the "last tackle" this season. I believe Marvin Austin had that honor for 2 years which included one year he wasn't eligible to play.

TNT and I got 2 very cool gifts from our neighbors, The Bowl Bound Boozers. Their son is an equipment manager for the team. He gave us each a game ball right before we drove off the lot around 1am. Some time this week I'm going to paint the date and score on that ball, and then enjoy it until Christmas. That day, I'll give it to my Dad..it is also his birthday. He's the reason I'm a Duke fan, he's taken me to games since Wallace Wade had wooden benches and I'd come home with splinters in my butt. He waited for Saturday night just as long as I had.

(I'm gonna photoshop the score/date onto the pic before I actually paint the ball..don't want to practice on the real thing!)

Bob Green wrote:It is time to get the "Bowl Eligibility" monkey off our backs! Let's beat Carolina and be done with it. Vegas has the Tar Heels favored by 10 with the over/under at 63. My crystal ball looked pretty good last week until the wheels came off late in the 2nd quarter. I've shined it up this week:

Duke 42, Carolina 38 in a gunslinging shootout.
A few points off but well done, Mr. Green.
