Durham Area Crazies

Post by Bostondevil » July 14th, 2009, 9:58 am

Brother Hal and I are planning to go to a midnight show of the new Harry Potter movie tonight (7/14 well, midnight 7/15) at Southpoint (assuming there is one). Would anybody like to join us?

I will be tucked away in my comfy bed sound asleep. This work thing really interferes with my social life. Hrmph!

Sounds fun, honest! but it's a 'skewl' night. Maybe next time (and on a Friday eve?).

I just saw my first Harry Potter movie on Sunday (the Azkaban one). Not bad - first time I've been able to sit all the way through one. But a midnight showing is a tad too late, especially since I have a very late night the following night (driving to Charlotte in the pm for a meeting, and then leaving about 9:30 to drive home - I'll get home about 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

How long will you be in Durham? Would be nice to get together before you leave.

Wish I could be there. I do think I'll get to watch it here tomorrow night. Cool thing is we're in Surrey, the county HP grew up in. I need to find Privet Drive in Little Whinging.
