I don't think anyone disagrees with this notion, how to make sure everyone gets that fair shot and what exactly a fair shot consists of is the question.
So ends my political commentary here at crazietalk.net. If I stray from this comment, please send me a note so I can delete the post.

On another note, there is a nearly blind black kitten available for adoption nearby. This would make 5, well beyond what I ever imagined. But as they say, life is what happens while you are busy planning.
(Who the heck are they? The bigger issue for me is that I stopped planning some time ago.)

A premature congratulations to Ymo for #4000 later this AM, assuming he is on a roll and will reach that milestone shortly.

I went to visit a small black kitten, she was adorable. She does detect large objects moving and she knows when you have a treat in your hand, because she definitely wants it.

Woke up at 4 AM Central time thinking about her. Trying to figure out how to not shrink everyone else's world while making it safe for her.

Ymo, the important thing is, she will be in a good, caring home. You will get that figured out. Kudos (and sporks) to you for being so concerned about a pet with a disability.
