IT and the computer idiot from the Sheriff's Office are still involved in the same contest.

If I don't have the program by today, I will throw a hissy fit in front of PHB, and let him get someone over to fix it. Squeaky wheels get grease.

PHB isn't in today. Since he refuses to have a second-in-command to make decisions when he is gone, I have to wait for him to return.

UPDATE: PHB showed up this afternoon. Turns out his computer won't play interview room videos either. He had a small shouting match with the Lt. in charge of the Sheriff's Office IT guys.

Good morning! Dreary day here, I'm heading over to Emerald Isle for a service call this morning. I don't like going there during the summer because of the tourists, they get in my way and piss me off. Maybe they won't be awake yet.

I managed to spill coffee all over myself on the way to work this morning.

The Sheriff's Office IT guy is off today but is supposed to come over tomorrow and install the driver in my computer. Apparently he didn't think I needed it when he came over and installed it in the computers of the "girls" up front (his words, not mine) and also in co-worker Andrew's computer. Not sure why he thought the secretaries might need to watch interview room video but not the attorneys. He asked yesterday if tomorrow was early enough, and I told him I'd been without it this long, what was another day?

The next time I need him as a chain of custody witness, his ass is not getting released from court until the case is over. Maybe not even til the appeal is over....
