Good morning! No beaches in Ohio. Well, that meet the ocean. I'm sure some in northern Ohio might try and sell their Great Lakes exposure as the beach.

Which two. Myrtle today to visit her cousin (who was here last week), and then Sunset on Saturday to spend a week with her other grandfather at their annual beach week! After seeing the video on the girl pier fishing in North Myrtle , I sure hope they keep her out of the water...

Good morning. This is our last day with Henry Joseph and Donna. Their flight in the morning to Minneapolis leaves at 6:45 AM. It's sad to see them go. We will miss them. Henry has picked up several new words in the 10 days they have been here. He's taking a few steps. I bet he's walking all over the place in a week or two. He is such a joy.

Vesta, for mowing the upper 40.
Too busy to go fishing. Of course, that means I'm too damned busy!
Taking next week off but the 'busy' factor doesn't drop. Mom goes in to Wesley Long Hospital Tuesday morning for surgery to pull her twisted stomach back down into the proper position that nature intended it to be in. We are hoping for the best. She's 91 and been on a liquid diet for two + months now.
My 92 year old uncle was buried last week.
Willie is 90 in 'people years'.
A/C has been weak. (haven't everybody's?)
Water heater went out last week.
Too much more to mention.
My hot steaming brain has been on overload to develop ideas for my juke joint.

Good morning. Even though Henry Joseph and Donna are gone (I really miss them), this house is still full. Our son, Jake, and his girl friend, Christen, Adam and Kyle are here. Jake is going to paint the sun room and kitchen for me today. Jamie, our best friends daughter, is coming over to help me put part of the kitchen back together. We cannot put anything in the top cabinets until the counter tops are in. The workers placed the old sink and counter top in place, I have running water again. My double ovens are in and the dishwasher is in, both are working. The new floors in the 1/2 bath, sun room and utility room are in. The 1/2 bath is up and running, thank goodness. I love the new 1/2 bath. I'm happy.

Hugs, vibes and prayers to your mom and you captmojo. Please keep us posted with your mom's progress. Capt, your plate is way too full.

Played 5 1/2 holes of golf today and got rained out. Haven't played in a month. Birdied the first hole, making a 25 ft. up hill "no brainer" with a 4 ft. break to the left at the end! WooHoo! Should have quit then Could have continued after the brief rain, but we were soaked, and the way we were playing (except for my first hole birdie), no one wanted to...
