I never saw the movie because Celine Dion sang that horrible song. Now if PearlJam had done the song, it would have been a different situation all together. ;)CameronBornAndBred wrote:She was the most interesting character in "Titanic" too.DukieInKansas wrote:That's why I have never seen the movie - I know how it ends. Would it be Snarky to say, Tiger Woods is not in contention to win the Masters Tournament.

Well well well. Where do we begin? "Oh crap, I was out too late with the boys and don't have time for the usual shit / shower / shave. I'll have get by with a clean shirt, a few swipes of deodorant, and a quart of water applied to my head with a comb." Growing up in my politically-incorrect neighborhood, we used to call this move a "Polish shower". Perhaps Brady also assumed he could get away with it if he stood next to a plastic deparment-store mannequin... No wonder everyone outside of New England hates this guy...

Good call. That also explains a lot of other things about him. (Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Hey, what's that thing on her upper arm? Does she have a boo-boo? Is she trying to quit smoking? Is it a birth control patch?

Why would Brady's GF wear a birth control patch? That seems sort of contrary to. . .

I don't think there is anything on her right arm...I think it is his pocket square, it just looks it is on her arm.

The colors are pastel, and have NOTHING to do with the German flag.

What's my problem?
Why do I have a sort of "snarky" feeling about Misty May and Kerri Walsh? They're good citizens and members of the Olympic team I'm proud of. They are in all probability winning the USA another gold . They haven't robbed any banks or shot anybody. They aren't even Tarheels. Bless their hearts, why is it that I can't warm up to them the way I can to most all of our other athletes? There is an air about them that gets under my skin and I can't figure it out. Is it just me?

For some reason, these warmups reminded me of Star Trek unis. They have a strange cut to them; the jackets are longer in the back than in the front.Lavabe wrote:I like the medals, but really, USA... GRAY?

Walsh is a mother too, and just came off yet another surgery last year.
I will always root for a mother in these games (they'll always give us a shot if her with kid) going up against the young Turks. In tonight's case, they were up against Austria. I never root for Austria and Germany.

And the backs of them have a skinny black font that says "The United States of America." They almost look like those fake US t-shirts you see when traveling in some developing countries. I once saw an Ohio State t-shirt in blue and gold.Lavabe wrote:I like the medals, but really, USA... GRAY?
