I can't believe there aren't any snarks for the Oscars. Sometimes, I look at a dress/hairdo and think to myself "Wow. Someone told you that looked good on you and you believed them. Amazing!"
Life is good!

Okay, here's my main snark for the evening:
Angie's dress was gorgeous. However, the gal needs to eat a cheeseburger and drink a shake and put on about 20 pounds. Seriously. Those toothpick arms aren't healthy looking.

Octavia and Melissa, although they looked wonderful, need to give some of their pounds to Angie. They can afford nutritionists and trainers now. I expect that both of them will/should drop a few a la Jennifer Hudson.
I'm not sure I like the peplum on Michelle's dress. I liked Emma's dress, but the red color was too powerful for her red hair.

Rooney looks prettier here than she did in the movie, but when I see her, the only word that comes to mind is BANGS.

Honey, you're married to Prince Albert. You two own Monaco. Your MIL is Grace Kelly. It's Hollywood, and our main business is acting. While you're in Hollywood, could you at least ACT interested?

I don't understand why JLo and her stylist decided to mash her tatas into her dress.

Meryl had the Oscar statuette look going on, too, but I love her! If you're a contender, you're entitled to dress like the gold statue you intend to pick up later in the evening.

I loved Octavia's dress. Nice to see a woman of size wear something that wasn't a tent, that fit beautifully and flattered her fuller figure.CathyCA wrote:Octavia and Melissa, although they looked wonderful, need to give some of their pounds to Angie. I hated the bow on Emma's dress, and did not like Michelles either (or Tina Fey's...not a peplum fan)
My favorites were
I loved the way this dressed moved. Just loved it.
Not usually a fan of this Cameron...but this I adored I might have done more with the hair, but I loved this dress:
and finally:
Class. Top to bottom. Roots to shoes.

I think that Jessica's dress could have been fitted or designed better in the bust. She looked like a member of the IBTC. I like the concept, but some chicken cutlets might have made the difference.
