It's in Julie's neighborhood in New Bern. I'm going to do a series of these houses, they are all built in the early 1900's.

I took Julie with me as I walked through her neighborhood taking photos for these paintings. When I showed her what I was going to paint next she said "You are going to paint THAT? It's a garage!". After seeing the painting she said "I will never question your judgement again". Of course, she's a woman, so that's a blatant lie...but it was nice to hear! :))

It's nice. Not sure I'd hang a painting of a garage in my house, but it's nice.

Simple but really quite cool. I like the idea and the finished product.

Of course, what you failed to paint was the Garage Band that was wasn't practicing inside and will someday burst on the scene and capture the imagination of millions of music fans world wide! Or, perhaps the next Steve Jobs was lurking inside with his latest contraption, hidden from your camera lens...

Nicely done!

Or, maybe it was a 'mancave'. Hideout. Thinking corner. Planning office. Idea hole. Tinker spot. Or as I call mine...
