Love the mailbox!

Do you live in Chapel Hill?
Yeah, we live in Hippy Hill around the corner from Ol' Roy, but we have those dumb cluster boxes in our subdivision. (The right flag flies at the front door, however, much to his chagrin.) This rural box is at our lake place at Hyco. Plenty of Duke folks around those parts. There's not even a NEED for a Duke decal. The neighbors appreciate the right color of blue. I think there are more of us there than in Duhrum.

My folks always had a blue mailbox at their retirement home on a lake. Mom always told people to "turn in at the blue mailbox". She had painted "Blue Mailbox" on the side of hers. This going up at our lake house is sort of in her honor. I'm going to paint the same words on the side of this one and give the same directions to anybody coming to visit -- just for old time's sake.

I love the Story of the BLUE MAILBOX! I also live On the HILL, almost a year now. I have become immune to all the light blue buses and tee shirts! We have those Cluster Boxes also! Must be a Chapel Hill thing. It reminds me of cluster boxes at apartment complex, but yet in nice subdivisions.

Chapel Hill isnt but so big. So we must be neighbors. There are several Duke flags, and NCState flags flying through out parts of The OC (Orange County). I sport my Duke Blue! :duke:

I do have G.T.O.(sometimes known as Lil' GTO) and 409.

I do know of My Chemical Romance, but similar to CCR I don't have them on my iPod. Going to today's show in Florence, KY my playlist will be very Springsteen heavy.
Speaking of iPods, I got Ultimate Jukebox Hits of the 70s for the original Ms. Labelle version of "Lady Marmalade", and was so excited to see that it also had "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. I was then VERY disappointed to not hear ANY cowbell in the song. :(( Mr. Walken was right! Cowbell really DOES make it better! :D

DUDE... you should have downloaded it from BOC's Agents of Fortune album directly, not the jukebox hits thing.

That is JUST TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!! Wish I could pipe that in at the driveway so everybody could hear it when they turn in there!!! Thanks a million, Capt'n!!! What a hoot! I wonder how many chords I'd have to learn to play that on Native's guitar.

Interesting meeting today with the President of my company. "Fairfield is an important operational center and will continue to be, but we are headquartered in Seattle."

I don't work for an operational group.

I think they will wait us out in a war of attrition. I don't believe they want to go through the expense of moving us out there. Two years ago, they asked for volunteers to move from Seattle to Ohio. That was the same time I got hired.

No Fucking kidding!!!! Pissed off and upset for the Team players, their families, and the loyal Duke fans. This should have been a Win....

Ran into Conner's aunt and uncle over in Hippy Hill, and talked to them several minutes. They have been in town for over a week, visiting from Miami, and taking in 2 games. They were disappointed over the Wake game. Said Conner was covered up all day. I told them, I would love a #2 Football jersey.... but the Univ store doesnt have one. Very very nice.

On a good note.......... Tarholes got their ass walloped!

Also, met the aunt of the husby of Kate Edwards yesterday. She was in town for the wedding. Saw on the local news, where John Edwards had to go out of the back of the church with a police escort! Isn't that just special. PRICK EDWARDS! A lovely day for Kate to get married. I know her Mother was looking down from Heaven, and wrapping her arms around her 1st born daughter.

We got home from the mountains around 8:30 tonight. The mountain colors were pretty in Virginia. I haven't read the paper about the game. Tomorrow, I'll catch up. I am sad our guys lost. :(

When does the VaTech thread go up?

I need 2 tickets to the game on Saturday. One of my law school classmates and her husband are going to join me for the game, and I need 2 tickets for them. Pattie will be pulling for the Hokies since their son is a member of the Corps of Cadets at VaTech. Her husband Dan will be pulling for Duke since he's a graduate of the USMA and one of Coach K's biggest fans.

Can someone help me?

Is it just me, or is anyone else having problems with the board loading slowly today?
