Hoping Ms. Sarah slept through the night again.

Having not had a full night's sleep in many weeks, I can in some ways empathize.

Not watching (not really a baseball fan), but I hear that the local team and their mascot, the Rally Squirrel, are doing well.
Baseball season ended a while ago...
Despite the insistence of some, the season continues as a World Series champion has not been crowned.

Ozzie, you must take some slight solace in the ongoing implosion of the team north of New York City.

Can you switch to wolfram alpha, or another search engine?
For better or worse, I have been hooked on Yahoo! for quite some time. Sports coverage is decent and I found a group of other cat owners there that have lost cats to FIP. When will Mister Softee buy them is the only question remaining.

Um, I'm glad THEY flamed out (sorry BD, no offense intended) but I take no joy in going "just a little bit farther" than they did and certainly can't and won't rub their faces in it, like carolina fans do by getting one freakin' game farther than we did last season (elite 8 vs. sweet 16). Both are essentially the same - far short of the goal.

Yeah, we live in Hippy Hill around the corner from Ol' Roy, but we have those dumb cluster boxes in our subdivision. (The right flag flies at the front door, however, much to his chagrin.) This rural box is at our lake place at Hyco. Plenty of Duke folks around those parts. There's not even a NEED for a Duke decal. The neighbors appreciate the right color of blue. I think there are more of us there than in Duhrum.

My folks always had a blue mailbox at their retirement home on a lake. Mom always told people to "turn in at the blue mailbox". She had painted "Blue Mailbox" on the side of hers. This going up at our lake house is sort of in her honor. I'm going to paint the same words on the side of this one and give the same directions to anybody coming to visit -- just for old time's sake.

I do have G.T.O.(sometimes known as Lil' GTO) and 409.

I do know of My Chemical Romance, but similar to CCR I don't have them on my iPod. Going to today's show in Florence, KY my playlist will be very Springsteen heavy.
Speaking of iPods, I got Ultimate Jukebox Hits of the 70s for the original Ms. Labelle version of "Lady Marmalade", and was so excited to see that it also had "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. I was then VERY disappointed to not hear ANY cowbell in the song. :(( Mr. Walken was right! Cowbell really DOES make it better! :D

Just about anything can use more cowbell.

An Ohioan apparently was keeping many animals at his home. And not just any animals, but lions, tigers, bears, chimps, orangutans etc. He was found dead and all the animals are loose. This is the second situation like this in the last year. Surely other states have issues with people keeping animals like this.
