We came home today. Harley is worn out. He played hard for 2 1/2 days.

Spent the weekend on the east coast of FL - Pembroke Pines for step daughter numero uno's baby shower. She's due 11/18 - other than some sibling drama (step daughter #2 needs to be the center of attention at all times...tough when you're sister is the big ol' preggo getting all the gifts.

Drove back last night...Alligator Alley in the pouring rain is a joy without measure.

Yesterday: Church in Madison. Another church in Madison. Home. Funeral in Walnut Cove. CROP Walk for Hunger in Oak Ridge. Three miles around a walking track in front of Kevin Harvick's home. Charge conference in Oak Ridge. Dinner at Phoenix Asian Cuisine in GSO. Home.

I'm tired just talking about all that.

Smithfield Ag Center for the Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. I exhibited several different products. Some good leads, no buyers. I am tired. Trade shows are a necessary evil.

Where is Vinnie's and what is the varnish zone? I haven't been to either one.

I went to two grocery stores today. That's it.

The varnish zone is Henry County, VA. Furniture factories used to be the main employer here, and the smell of varnish was strong. We always wondered if varnish blocked oxygen from the brains of people here, causing them to do things like have relations with their sisters and wear stolen shoes to court when they were accused of stealing shoes.

Vinnie's is on Hwy. 70 in the Food Lion shopping center, not to be confused with the FL off I85-40.
