Whether or not the Family Guy is a kid-appropriate show is relevant. Lois is still a fictional TV wife in history. Much like Marge, her husband is kind of a buffon, and she loves him dearly, unconditionally even. I think that qualifies her as a candidate.cl15876 wrote:onccccckkkkkk, .... The amount of crap they put up with is amazing, and they still love their husbands. Sweet.![]()
I've only seen the Family Guy once because either there has been something better on or my kids were around and I don't think that show is a kid appropriate show to let them watch similiar to the simpsons.

Hint: if you want to know someone's true hair color, look at her eyebrows.

Um, I don't think you understand what zaftig means. Zaftig means you're lovin' on very large women. Roseanne would qualify for your zaftig category when she was at her heavier weights. I don't think Lois Griffin is nearly large enough to qualify for the zaftig category. Peter or Chris, maybe, but they're guys...most of the time. ;)5. Miss Piggy ... bless her heart, but NOT SO MUCH

Know what? You're right. I looked at the start of the discussion and the tail end of it, but not so much of the middle.bjornolf wrote:Um, I don't think you understand what zaftig means. What about Josie from Josie and the Pussycats? Or the grown up Pebbles Flintstone?EarlJam wrote:Cartoon hot: Dude, not a bad call on Jane. But gimmie some Daffney from Scooby Doo or Betty Rubble. Zaftig hot: Miss Piggy (OK, not really...I just love the word "zaftig")
Fairy tale hot: Princess Buttercup
Kick-ass hot: Beatrix Kiddo (actually just 'the Bride,' but anyway...)
Disney Princess hot: Ariel
Well...I had this list all typed when I realized that the question is "best" wife, not "hottest" wife. But I really like my list, so I'll submit it anyway.

I don't think Daphne from SD, Josie, or Pebbles were ever married in their respective shows, were they? Remember, we have to keep it to WIVES, not women in general. ;)colchar wrote: What about Josie from Josie and the Pussycats? Or the grown up Pebbles Flintstone?

Joe - I am shocked that you would hit the bulls eye on this one! I kept thinking... "they never made cartoon characters like that when I was growing up" and if they had "hmmm... I know my mom and dad would not approve, and I'd be soooo     " Brad Pitt = recent (relatively speaking), so now I know why I didn't recognize this.... Capt... U dirty O'l .... !!!bjornolf wrote:Is that the character from Cool World with Brad Pitt?

My favorite part of Cool World as a kid was the camera going "through the gorilla" and seeing the little people screaming as they fall off the building. I always thought that was HYSTERICAL.
