I don't want to hear it. For some of us, the baseball season ended in 1992. (Although we caught a whiff of friskiness for a few months this season; some brave souls even took a test ride on a Pirates bandwagon...)
Always liked Jimmy Leyland; if the Tigers and Phillies make it, I predict there will be a few hundred stories about old-school baseball lifers Leyland and Uncle Cholly...

Could be. It would have been an improvement over the dinner I tried last night.
No thought of a PWing slogan to carry this further.

I had a Ted Drewes Great Pumpkin Concrete for dinner.

If you had gone to Blueberry Hill, you could have had their new PINK SQUIRREL cocktail...
Note to Ozzie: Apparently, baseball season is still alive in St. Louis. ;)

Lots of people are hoping the sun sets REALLY late.
If this keeps up, I may have to become a baseball fan.

No baseball here. I'm watching the Auburn-Arkansas football game on ESPN right now. The Hogs lead, 21-14, at the half. Go Hogs!

I know there is still a lot of time left in the game, but Nebraska is once again getting a nice welcome to the Big Ten. I admit that seeing O$U winning is a bit hard to take for me, but most NE fans I know thought they would run over the opposition in the Big Ten. It's kind of nice seeing them have to take their medicine.

Go Big Red!!! I admit, I turned it off when OSU was up 27-6 early in the 3rd quarter. Who knew the Huskers would go on such a tear, to end up on top, 34-27?!

There was a Nolan sighting at Kenan yesterday wearing a Louisville cap.
