Seconded on the lunch but WAAAAAY too much food brought on an extended nap this afternoon. Caramel Porter review tomorrow from the CB&B trader so I'll have to make his a 7 pack next time

. Mencocino Imperial Barleywine tonight. Why they call it "imperial" I am not sure. Previously reviewed, so just sip and enjoy tonight without any note-taking.
Got to the Meet the Blue Devils event about 5:25. Thought it was supposed to start about 5:30 - practice first, then meet the players, etc. Wrong. I talked to Cowboy on the concourse first, then saw Mike Sobb, who told me Chris Kautza (the tent guy) was looking for me, so I got up with him, and got the Drop Off passes for Blue Devil Alley for the year. Then I was talking with Watzone for a few minutes and found out about Connette's injury (he got a shoulder stinger, courtesy of Matt Daniels, severity/recovery time unknown at this time, at least by me). By the time I got all this chit/chat done, practice was OVER and I never got to see the first bit of it.
So I went to dinner at Tyler's and has a couple of Mad Hatter, er, Magic Hat #9's with my burger!

Ymm!

I'm still stuffed at 10:30. Nap was much needed when I got home.

Content! Adam and his dad, Johnny, are here. We had a nice visit from CBAB this afternoon. Johnny grilled delicious wahoo with an amazing secret sauce. The fish was accompanied by steamed broccoli and black beans and rice. Life is good!!

Christian and I had dinner at a little Mexican restaurant called "Fajitas" tonight. Neither of us ordered fajitas.

I go to Taco Bell and don't order tacos. I've never been to Pizza Hut and not gotten pizza.

I'd say that was a missed opportunity. Probably the specialty of the house!

I saw "The Help" today. Excellent, excellent movie. If you've read the book, see the movie. If you haven't read the book, see the movie. Easily the best movie I've seen this summer. It should be a contender for Best Picture.

So I've got this pain in my elbow. It's been lingering for six weeks now and not getting any better. Guess it's time to see a doctor.

I get a pain in my ass sometimes, but when I leave work it goes away.
