Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
Brian passed away at 5 this morning, about 40 minutes after his oldest son and family arrived. His pain and suffering are over. He was a devout man, and a fine one. I am sure he is in heaven.
Prayers and vibes for those left behind.

I'm glad his son and family arrived. I'm sure Brian was waiting for them. The human spirit is an amazing thing and will hold on for certain milestones. I'm glad his suffering is over but, drat, it sure is hard for those left behind.lawgrad91 wrote:Brian passed away at 5 this morning, about 40 minutes after his oldest son and family arrived. Exactly. That was the best news. Brian had been in intense pain for weeks. Having gotten in just a few hours before my Dad died, I know how important that is later on. That was my big concern, that Joey would be too late.windsor wrote:So glad his family was able to be with him, my deepest sympathies to all who knew and love him.lawgrad91 wrote:Brian passed away at 5 this morning, about 40 minutes after his oldest son and family arrived. Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
Love and universal vibes to all of you. So many of us are sad and worried. But losing heart is not an option. Everybody stop right now and think of five things you are grateful for.... big or small.
I'm grateful for:
1. A soft place to fall at the end of the day.
2. A clear conscience.
3. The Old Professor
4. Earl Jam's sense of humor
5. Soap and water.
Love, Ima

The Mate has taken Willie the Red-Headed, Never Met a Stranger, to the Vet during my absence. She said he has blood in his stool. I have yet to hear any reports. Vibes are welcome.

Vibes for Willie from Merlin and Sasha, and me of course.
May it be something minor and treatable.

Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
Willie was attended by Dr. Boyce, who was the first to see him on the morning after we first found him. A lot of test were run and it is hopefully believed that he has a digestive system infection and not anything worse. He's at home, resting, on medication, under observation and being pounded with good vibrations and well wishes.
Many thanks from me and my good pal.

Yeah, Dr. Boyce. we've been customers of his for a long time. He really knows his business and he won't rip you off. He can however, be a little toooo honest at times.lawgrad91 wrote:

Oh yeah! He's great with snakes.

Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
I used to listen to his radio show on the local Patrick County station on occasion. Interesting guy. I prosecuted a guy who threw a fit in his office. It was amazing; all my witnesses looked like the dogs that they had. The curly-haired lady had a poodle, the lady with the long reddish hair had an Irish setter, the gentleman with the bushy mustache and eyebrows like caterpillars had a Schnauzer, etc.captmojo wrote:Yeah, Dr. Boyce. we've been customers of his for a long time. Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
Dr. Boyce is worth the drive to Patrick Springs. The vets around here are greatly expensive.

I remember him being very reasonable. He treated my Pit Bull Cert (for CathyCA, his full name was "The Writ of Certiorari") for something once.captmojo wrote:Dr. Boyce is worth the drive to Patrick Springs. The vets around here are greatly expensive.

Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
I'm late to the party with my vibes but it appears Dr. Boyce saw fit to start without me and that's a good thing! Sending an armload of my best for continued improvement. Lucky and Murphy send licks and wags, too. They would like to be kept posted.
