Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
My dad will be undergoing surgery on Monday, to remove a "mass" found during a routine colonoscopy last week. Requesting some healing & peaceful vibes, as well as any "good pathology report" vibes you can spare.
Earlier in the LTE, I'd asked for vibes about my grandma - they worked! She seems to have stabilized, and was doing fine when I was there a couple weeks ago. I believe in the power of CTN vibers!

Update to cousin Brian: the new prognosis is 72 hours.
Prayers and vibes that his son Joey and family get to eastern VA from Illinois in time to say good-bye.

Safe and quick travel vibes for Joey and family. Even stronger vibes to Brian - may he stay alert and comfortable and prove the docs wrong about the 72 hours.lawgrad91 wrote:Update to cousin Brian: the new prognosis is 72 hours.

DA - sorry to hear about your Dad's upcoming surgery. Vibes and prayers for the surgical team to have steady hands, for the pathologists to have good eyes and not find anything, for your mom and all the family as they wait the outcome, and for your dad to heal quickly. He's got a grandbaby to love for lots of years - that's an incredibly important job.

Re: Universal "Community" Vibes
Thanks, ladies. The thought that it might be the dreaded "colon cancer" doesn't scare me maybe as much as it should. First, the doctor said he thinks it may not be malignant, second, my grandma (yes, the nearly 102-yo who's still tickin' along) had colon cancer in the 1960's, and has clearly outlived all expectations of her demise from that. Still, I don't like the thought of it in general, so I appreciate the vibes and prayers.ArkieDukie wrote:I think DinK covered it pretty well, so I'll second what she said.
