That would be great! You've got a ticket and tailgate coming to you if you do! :D :happy-bouncyblue: :9f:
Suggestions? Which game should I come to?

I plan to ask for time off by stating that I've rescheduled the vacation I had to cancel last fall.
You pick. Stanford on Sept 10th is the glamor game, though I'm among the few who think we can win it. Tulane on Sept. 24th is homecoming so Duke has other festivities planned that you can register for as well. http://www.dukealumni.com/reunions-home ... gistration

Or you can catch Countdown to Crazieness on Friday, October 14th and FSU on Saturday the 15th! Why do I suddenly think this might be your choice if that weekend fits your schedule? B-) :happy-bouncyblue: If this is your choice, I can order you a ticket for CtC with my season ticket order this coming week, so I'll need to know. Those tickets are listed as "Price TBD" on the ticket order form.

Are bulldogs really that dumb? I always gotten the impression that they were very stubborn and very lazy, but not all that dumb. It's the person that gives up on training them that's really the dumbie. At least, that's what bulldog owners have told me.

BWAHAHAHA! Forsyth County sent me a jury summons for Sept. 8. :ymdevil:

I know I have court all day that day in the varnish zone, but the ^&%&*)^$#$^%$* court computer online won't let me check Circuit Court dockets by date. Not sure any defense attorney with a brain would want me on a jury, anyway, except in a very rare case.

I got a jury summons from Forsyth County when I was in law school. I was a 3L. I wrote a letter to the Chief District Court Judge and I got out of it.

I have one more day in which I could potentially be a juror. I have a limited 2-week service (vs. the normal one-month service); so far, I've only had to go in one day. On that day, the defense struck a deal before voir dire.

I can tell their guilt just by the look in their eyes. :D

The only time the county called for me, my cousin was the arresting officer on the case. Now he's chief o'police.
I was summonsed from the feds 2 years ago, but never called up. :D

Now, I've got to answer a civil summons from the dude I hit in Sanford 2 years ago. I was served last week. He's claiming a lot of bullshit against me. Like, speeding, following too closely, not reducing speed and careless & reckless. :-o
Any defense help available? :-ss
All traffic offense (one charge) was dismissed by the court.

I've only been called to jury duty once. I was excused after mentioning during voir dire that I was casual social friends with one of the deputy prosecuting attorneys. Bummer, I kind of wanted to serve.

The more I move, the less I get called to jury duty.

I've been called twice. First was a medical malpractice case - I'm not sure how I made it on the jury as I worked as a pharmacy technician at the time and both my sisters were in the medical field. We served 8 days and then they settled out of court. The plaintiff deserved some compensation but he was an idiot and he wasn't suing the person who allegedly gave him an instruction that caused a lot of his trouble. I was impressed with the judge and was happy to have some faith in the judicial system restored after a brush with the NC system in college due to a friend's rape. (Stupid NC system)

The next time, it looked like they were going to have a case and after our second short recess of the morning we came back to find out the guy took a plea. I was bummed - I really wanted to send someone up the river. :ymdevil:

:ymdevil: I'm prosecuting a guy next week for assault and battery for kicking another guy.

Why, you ask, is this so odd?

The defendant was in a motorcycle accident a couple of years ago. He only has one leg. I don't think he's coordinated enough to manage that....
