Hmm, here by myself with 5 posts to go...
Nah, someone else can have the distinction.
I'll bet Ozzie's lurking around somewhere...
Shoot, that coulda been 5 posts right there.
Or more.
I must be getting old.
Nope. I was in Greensboro, nowhere near a computer at the time.
Congratulations to AW on posting #100K!

I have the irresistible urge to look at my percentage of posts compared to the total overall.

I have to ask though, what were you doing under your client's house?

Congratulations!
Mortgage debt doesn't count because it means that you have a place to live and you get a tax deduction with your mortgage interest.

For how much longer will the mortgage tax deduction last?

Thanks, CathyCA! It's been a long road to get here, and it was satisfying to pay off that last little bit.
I really don't count my mortgage debt for the very reason that you mentioned. Love that it's mine, and the tax write-off doesn't hurt, either.

Next goal: build up savings. The experts always advise 3 months worth of income, correct? Even one would make me happy at this point.

Sure hope that one doesn't go away. Is there some danger of that happening?

I have eschewed debt reduction in favor of cash in the bank(well, some it, other elsewhere and it has earned significantly higher returns and I watch it like a hawk). Much of my debt is at less than 2% interest rates...

My last post didn't make much sense, but for what it's worth there have been 88K views of this thread.

Love the uniform. Every other picture I've seen says "Navy" or has a big "N" on it.

Thanks LG. Great story.

We had a nice weekend. We went to DukePa and Stevo's yesterday. Great company and terrific food. This morning, we went to Wilmington to see Jake. I love his new apartment. It's right across the street from his shop. It's on Water St. and in the middle of "everything". We had lunch at at George's restaurant. It was good. We then went to Kenansville and to see Dawn and family. It's nice to be home.
