I suppose if I wait a few minutes I could post in the "Good Morning" thread.

We went from the sublime (lunch at a little restaurant in Blowing Rock) to the ridiculous (redneck racing at its finest at Bowman Gray Stadium) today. I am ready for bed.

Co-workers always tried to convince me to go to the racing at Bowman Gray, but I could never convince myself to do it. I went to see some drag racing a few weeks ago. Racing at Bowman Gray sounds like a good idea now.

FWIW, the Good Night thread is longer than the Good Morning thread.

Don't take kids, unless those kids are used to loud noises, hours of sitting in confined areas (or you don't care if they kick other people or drop toys on their heads), and women yelling "eat my :poo: " at each other. At least the numbers of people smoking has decreased.

It's a lot like being at the courthouse in the varnish zone, except no one is paying me to be there.

Time for bed. Future DA's started reliably sleeping through the night, but 9PM-6AM still equals an early morning. ( :YMPRAY: that this doesn't jinx it.)

This week the pattern has been fall asleep on the couch watching the news, miss Letterman (yay!), wake up (or be woken up) after Ferguson is over and go to bed, only not be able to get back to sleep for an extended period of time. Hence, here it is almost 3 a.m. and here I am posting. Third night this week this has happened. X(
