I bet he defriended Chancellor Thorpe tonight.

Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

That's pretty cool...he only has 374, so he's not of those ones that takes everybody.
He has 3091 FB friends--at least the Jay Bilas who is my FB friend has that many.
I just sent a friend request to Jay Bilas with 376 friends.

He's notorious for not following anyone on Twitter. (BTW, if you're on Twitter, follow @jaybilas - he's pretty funny most of the time, and occasionally hilarious.)

6 minutes. That's how long it took for Jay Bilas with 376 (now 377) friends to accept my request.
Of course, we've been friends in real life for 30 years.

I made it 385.

The VIrginian-Pilot has a series of articles about the Navy World Series of 1943, played in Norfolk. Reading back through the articles I'd missed the last couple of days, I saw this one about the original "Crash" Davis.

Love the uniform. Every other picture I've seen says "Navy" or has a big "N" on it.

I found this mushroom growing under a client's house today. Never seen anything like it, it looks like a sci-fi movie prop. Anyone know what kind it is?
