I looked Caspar Babypants up on Wikipedia last night, and when I saw he was from Seattle, I thought about you and Future DA.DevilAlumna wrote:Caspar Babypants is the kids' band of Chris Ballew, lead singer of The Presidents of the United States of America. He's from Seattle, both bands are very popular here, as you might imagine. In fact, I think Babypants played a free concert today in Kirkland.lawgrad91 wrote:Caspar Babypants is back on. I have to say some of the music on The Playground has brought back childhood memories (Mary Poppins music, and Bedknobs and Broomsticks) but I can't say that about Caspar Babypants and The Chipettes covering Metallica's "So What?"
My contacts have been well lubricated, as I have been laughing myself to tears for the last hour.

Mmmm...the store had boxes of Nutty Buddies on sale, buy one get one free, and gallons of ice cream for $1.98. My freezer is now packed, but I don't know how long it will stay that way. Those Nutty Buddies are insanely addictive!

Re: LTE 2.0
I have a friend that has been fluent with HVAC issues for his entire life. We grew up together. The first time I ever saw him stopped in his tracks was when he was about to swipe electrical power from another friend's father's house, to install an air conditioner in our treehouse. He was promptly told that it would require a separate meter and account with Duke Power.
He called me last night to offer a check-up on my climate system. Ughhh...36 hours late, pal. I tried to get hold of him the morning before, when the a/c here went down. Oh well. No hard feelings. He understands. Something needed to be done right away. Of course, he hindsightedly proclaims he would have corrected the problem at half of what it's gonna cost me using other people. And, he's right. I know that.
My problem now is that it'll be either Monday or Tuesday before the repairs are complete.
I think I'll go up to the mountains.
