Re: LTE 2.0
Does streaming netflix on one's smartphone count as "watching tv"? I've been doing a lot of that lately, usually around 2PM and 2AM. (Tho I may have to revisit online viewing options, in light of Netflix' recent price increases.)YmoBeThere wrote:I'm watching less and less TV these days. Unless it is automobile related. Overhaulin', MuscleCar TV, Wrecks to Riches, etc. The occasional Mecum Auction. In other words, I watch Discovery, Speed, and HD Theater mostly. Along with business news.
The only dogs I saw yesterday, were people's pets.
Recently, I've been watching "Better Off Ted." Don't know why I'd never heard of this show when it was on TV, but it's brilliant funny. Love the writing.

I'm in a shitty mood. No particular reason. Well, a few things irked me this morning before leaving for work, but big deal, right?
Anyway, just wanted to share!
Shit.

Re: LTE 2.0
We went to see the new Harry Potter movie today. It's playing at the $3 theater in Kernersville.
It was fine, but I'm not much into Hogwarts (insert Communist flag here) and I'm glad we didn't pay full price plus 3D, plus arms and legs for popcorn. (A large popcorn and large Diet Coke was $6.50.)

Did you pay more than $3 to see it? I have yet to see any of the HP movies in a theater. I have yet to watch one all the way through on TV; they just don't grad my attention.ArkieDukie wrote:I'm going to see the new Harry Potter movie this afternoon!![]()

I just got a manicure. I love having pretty nails.
(This is a huge change from my nail-biting ways which lasted until around May 5 of this year.)

I've never had a manicure, haven't seen the last Potter movie but have seen the rest, and Majestic 12 appears to a distributed computing search engine. Things at work irked me yesterday afternoon.

Does anyone else here think it's odd that the WS Pho restaurant lists as one of its likes on Facebook, an ANIMAL CARE CLINIC?

over the end. Maybe it's because I'm not addicted. I think I've seen three of the movies.

You've got that right but I must admit I enjoy it too. Today for lunch we had the first Silver Queen corn along with Kentucky Wonder green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers in vinegar, all from the garden. Speaking of Tru Dat, what about "Who Dat?" as in it's like playing New Orleans in the Super Bowl after Katrina.YmoBeThere wrote:Tru dat!YmoBeThere wrote:Playing Japan in the World Cup after the tsunami is about = to playing Canada in Vancouver for the gold medal.

I had the first tomato from my garden last night and some more for lunch. I love homegrown tomatoes - now if only the squirrels would move out of the neighborhood so I could get more of them!
