We just got home from our jaunt to Raleigh and Heav, uh, Duke. It's pretty here and when the dogs finish their suppers we will take a stroll in the view of the crescent moon. :)

We had the quintessentially perfect Seattle Spring day here. (Yes, spring lasts until July 12 here.) Beautiful blue skies, crisp white-topped mountains. I celebrated by enjoying a yummy cuban roast pork sandwich from this place, http://www.yelp.com/biz/paseo-seattle, then wandering around Gas Works park. :happy-bouncyblue:

Future DA was a champ, sleeping or chilling in the car seat during lunch, then napping in the sling wrap during our sunshiney stroll. LOVE LOVE LOVE Seattle when it's sunny!

I broke down and turned on the ac this am. It has been in the 90s for a few days and is going to be there for at least the next week. I prefer the 90s stay away until July.

Ooops - double post. I suppose I could delete it - but then what kind of a PW wannabe would I be?

Dark clouds approaching from the west, accompanied by some thunder. One meteorologist says the winds may gust up to 60 mph. Some hail also be part of this storm.

It's effin' hot. I hate hot weather too. I also hate cold weather. I hate cold weather more, but I still hate hot weather. This summer is gonna be a cauldron, I think. :Boo:

Frigid winter, incredibly destructive and deadly tornadoes where they don't belong, massive floods, stifling heat, erupting volcanoes, earth quakes in St. Louis. I just saw a huge solar flare (on the news) that occurred today. Maybe that prediction of the end of the world last month wasn't so far fetched after all... :(

Hello? You live at the beach. You can never complain about the weather. Complaining about the weather is against the rules of living at the beach.

It's that time again! Full-time coverage of severe thunderstorms on our area that are showing rotation. Currently "raining cats and dogs" at Lambert Field. Large hail falling to the south of the city. Looks like it's going around St. Louis City (fingers crossed).

It was worth Merlin getting all upset in the storm and having not one, but two accidents while we were at the gym. I think he needed a :ymhug:

Heavy rains in waves along with lots of thunder and lots of lightening for over an hour.... all moving on a diagonal to the east northeast. The last bands with lightening are rolling through the area now. Rain will take longer to move out.

Miss Molly has become a very clingy little dog here in recent months.

Phase 2 of Storm Night is coming through. Merlin has managed to worm himself between me and the couch cushion.

I got a call from Greg Fishel about 4 pm today (thunderstorm warning for my house) but all we got was a sprinkle or two.

There were showers yesterday, on and off for an hour or so. But any rain was needed. So dry in the Triangle.

Had two hours worth of rain in the varnish zone this afternoon.

Pouring here now, with lots of thunder. I have one dog tucked under each arm, which makes typing just a mite difficult. :O3 :O3
