By the way, ALL PRAISE BE TO YMO, for his vibes to Vandy's baseball team (a.k.a. the team that knocked out the Holes).

2014, 2011, and 2009 Lemur Loving CTN NASCAR Champ. No lasers were used to win these titles.

Made it home in time for the NBA draft!!!! Was listening to ESPN on the radio.
I just want to hear David stern say, with the first pick of the 2011 nba draft, the cleveland cavs select Kyrie Irving from Duke University.
And the best to Kyrie, Kyle and Nolan tonight.

I'm disappointed Kyle wasn't selected in the first round of the draft.

We are were! And Kyle got robbed, going in the 2nd round. Alot of International kids were selected and other kids that were not as known as Kyle or even near his skill set.
Kyle should have been a lottery pick! Or at least going in the teens in Round 1.
All three of our boys were picked. And thats awesome! They are living their Dreams! The Best to Kyle, Nolan and Kyrie!! GO make alot of BUCKETS!!!!!!!!

This is very cool. I'm doing an outdoor art show tomorrow. It started today, but being Friday I coudn't go because of work. (And of course I called in sick..lol, but still couldn't go)
So I googled "New Bern RiverFest" and found a link, clicked it, and BOOM I'm looking at one of my paintings. That was seriously flattering.

DD and Mrs. DD are dropping in, hopefully CathyCA too. Anyone else close enough, the show runs from 10am to 7pm.
Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

The Commodores suffered a second loss today to the Florida Gators and have thus been eliminated.

Played tourist today. Went to Lafayette Square, walked around a bit, and took some pictures.

The RiverFest was lots of fun! It was HOT, though.
After RiverFest, we went to a cute little deli on U.S. 17 in Bridgeton and had a pimiento cheese sandwich that was de-luscious! It was made with smoked gouda cheese. YUM! My friend had a roast beef sandwich with horseradish, and it was yummy, too. We then went over to the riverfront park in New Bern and watched the boats sail by and listened to a band play on the deck of the Hilton.
It was a lovely day. Thanks for the invitation, CB&B!

If I ever post on here that I'm worried about my Mom because she isn't talking, someone please remind me of this date. She is an hour into her conversation (punctuated by "um-hm" and "yes" and "you told me") and just getting started....
