Who's Your Favorite Family Feud Host?
Let us all face facts: The game show rocks, and has easily passed the test of time.
Of all the host, who has been your favorite? (And don't say you don't watch it, because I know you would be lying).

Richard Dawson. He kissed all of the ladies.

You left off Louie Anderson. Unless that's the nylon guy, but he's still alive.
He has had a gap in his teeth for most of his life. When asked if he has tried to get it fixed he says, "My gap is my trademark; without my gap, I am just an annoying game show host."--Wikipedia

Wasn't he kind of a slimeball though? Is he still alive?

Good call. He was pretty good. I forgot about him. No, he was not the one who strangled himself with silky, seamless and smooth, sexy nylon stockings. I believe that guy's name was Ray Colmbs. And though I make a little light about it, his death was really pitiful. He suffered from major depression, brought about by divorce. I truly feel/felt for the guy immensely.

Well, I don't think I'd make out with him, but it was very gentlemanly for him to greet the ladies on his show with a kiss.EarlJam wrote:CathyCA wrote:Richard Dawson. He kissed all of the ladies.

I liked him better when he was on Match Game.

I like the French version guy. It's still too wacky a show. I saw the all-time dumb family the other night in the final round. The two family members had ZERO points, going into the final three questions. They wound up with 12 out of 200 points.
Tilly: maybe we need a poll about favorite character on Hogan's Heroes.

Yes. Definitely loved Hogan's Heroes. Dawson gets my vote.TillyGalore wrote:

Note: Did you know that the guy who played Cpl. LeBeau in Hogan's Heroes was ACTUALLY in in a concentration camp (Buchenwald) during the war? Then he went on into film and played a captured French soldier working with the resistance from POW camp. That must have been weird for him.

He never did it, but...John Charles Daly. My fave game show host. Never up-staged the players.
