I've got the extra dozen (rhymes with dumbo) eggs. Also picked up a tub of Philly cream cheese. Cream cheese on freedom toast is delish!

Re: Brunchgate 10-03 Edition: menu planning and attendance
I was resting up for dance class and a practice dance party tonight and got your message at about 1045 PM. Sorry. BUT, the oatmeal stout sounds like a good choice. Oatmeal. Dark beer. Pumpkin bread. Pee-cans. Chocolate chips. Sounds like a winning combination. Just like Lewis to Kelly and/or Renfree to Varner ;) .DukePA wrote:DD: I stopped by Lowe's to purchase mimosa stuff and pumpkin ale but was unable to find said pumpkin ale. I left a message on your cell phone seeking advice but alas, you didn't answer I ended up buying some oatmeal stout since oatmeal is for breakfast

I'll be getting there right at 8am if not a little sooner. The potatoes are made, but I'm going to reheat them on my little grill. They should be hot enough in time for brunch.

Drink one for me tomorrow morning. Even one of those polyester beers will be OK . I'll stop by and see everyone at the next one. Go DUKE! AW.
PS. TNT Devil, I trust the ticket arrived in time.

Correction: That should be Parents Weekend, not Homecoming, which was 9/26. :oops:devildeac wrote:The next Brunchgate would be Homecoming on 10/24, but who's counting...August West wrote:Drink one for me tomorrow morning. And a great time was had by all, except for DukePA. Too bad that Stevie contracted a case of Virginia FeverDukePA wrote:I am so proud of the Blue Devils!!! OK, that was TNTDevil's line. I borrowed it here!
Thanks again to TNTDevil for a fabulous spread and to all who brought all the delicious goodies!
Next up: Maryland on 10/24, which will also feature our men's basketball team - I'm sure y'all remember them - against Pfeiffer in an exhibition game. This will be a dual tailgate - before the first game and then between games. We won't know which game is first until TV sets the time for the football game. Hopefully there will be at least a couple of hours between games. TNT has already said he'll be getting there about 8 a.m., and the tents will be up at 8 as well.

Our first brunchgate....but NOT our last! It was truly a great day. We STILL don't believe TNT. He just can't be for real. What a great job he does. We're looking forward to meeting Duke PA sooner or later. Or is she a figment of our imagination?
Gosh it was terrific. Thanks everybody.

A sincere thank you. It was great stuff.

So happy to see you and the family there, the sausage/egg dish was one of the highlights of the menu, most delicious!Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:Our first brunchgate....but NOT our last!
