RE: deafening...yes but not unusual. It is may be very difficult given internal politics and there may be many hoops to jump. Proceed on with life and go back to them if somethings changes on your part.

True, but I don't think it is kosher to completely ignore requests for an update. It's not like I'm asking daily. Closest were a week apart.YmoBeThere wrote:RE: deafening...yes but not unusual. Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Donald Trump is continuing to make his sassy snarky remarks. This time about Senator John McCain.
To all the Veterans of the Military and the Current Service People, I thank you for your service.
Senator John McCain, is indeed a true War Hero !

Do I recall that he said it might be a while as he had a child/grandchild over the summer?

Re: LTE 2.0
Two granddaughters. I've already deciding I won't email him to ask for updates any more. He has ignored the past two, stretched approximately 2 weeks apart. Next email will be when/if I have an offer on the table from Northwestern. The clock is ticking at 6 weeks now, with 4 weeks since I've heard anything.windsor wrote:ArkieDukie wrote:True, but I don't think it is kosher to completely ignore requests for an update. I've mentioned to another friend that the radio silence does bring on a bit of PTSD from when I worked there before. He ignores emails even when he doesn't have the excuse of having his granddaughters in town. I will soon have to make a decision about whether or not to list my condo. If I don't hear anything, I will have no choice but to list.

I am pretty sure that statement is true with the words "men with ugly feet"

The morning T-shirts were more interesting: "I'm only here to annoy you" (on a sixty-ish buxom braless woman ); "Attitude...downloading"; and a skull with "100% punisher." There was also a lady with dark purple hair, and a guy with "Estd. 1985" tattooed on his neck. I hope he waited until after he was 21 to get that or his fake ID would have been wasted.windsor wrote:lawgrad91 wrote:Afternoon court fashion tip: men with ugly feet should not wear flip flops to court.

Unless he was born in 1987. Then it's genius. Talk about being committed to the con.lawgrad91 wrote:The morning T-shirts were more interesting: "I'm only here to annoy you" (on a sixty-ish buxom braless woman ); "Attitude...downloading"; and a skull with "100% punisher."
