I'm back from two weeks in France and from a week at North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I took over 4000 pictures in France, and I got elected as a jurisdictional conference delegate for 2020 (which means that I get to go to Lake Junaluska, eat lots of ice cream, and elect bishops next summer).

I’m actually at Lake Junaluska at this very moment, watching clouds thud by. I have suggestions for ice cream and restaurants here!

The Rev LG and a ton of his closest friends and associates are attending Annual Conference for the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC. I am sitting in a chair taking it easy, hanging out with a friend and trying hard to forget about work.

I'm all ears! I think we're going to rent an AirB&B for SEJ Conference next summer unless you have better suggestions about accommodations.
