I made it through about 4 minutes then started feeling really ill. I stopped when he was trying to explain that it was weird that many counties in Michigan voted for him but Wayne County voted heavily against him, so this obviously means there were issues in Wayne County. The man really does live in a different universe. Does he come up with these ideas on his own or is someone whispering them in his ear? He really should be placed in a mental hospital. It is the textbook definition of paranoia. I want someone to ask who these "everybody" or "nobody" are that he always refers to. And as we have all agreed before, and as is clearly shown in the comments on the video, what is most scary is that tens of millions of Americans think there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. There are plenty of doctors out there who have taken course work in psychiatry who don't see this as an issue - really?

Interesting story in today's NYTimes about Trump and his whole life is built around not being a loser and showing that he is a winner. One of my kids was very briefly into Fortnite and there is apparently a "Take the L" dance you do to rub it in when you win. I found this youtube clip of ten straight hours of Take the L. I wish someone would buy hours of air time on all of Trump's favorite networks and play this.

I love this tweet by Jake Tapper after Trump went after the journalist the other day:

The excellent journalist @jeffmason1 is on the other end of this spectacle.

Jeff will still be working at the White House after January 20, 2021.

I didn't see it, nor would I have, but it's being excoriated by every other "MSM" outlet as nothing but pure propaganda. And from the quotes that I've seen, I agree.

That "interviewer" was shameless. She'd have the job of her choice waiting for her at OANN and Newsmax.

So at what point do Trump's rants go from being crazy guy screaming on the street corner to criminal? I'm sure that would be a really hard freedom of speech case to try, it is impossible to convict a sitting president of anything, and there likely is no lawyer with the cojones to take on Trump and is merry band of idiots, but it really is getting out of hand and is destroying this country. The man is ranting incoherently. Someone needs to ask him where he is getting his information from. And "people" or "my supporters" is not a good answer. And yes, I will talk to the president like that. He is the definition of crazy, paranoid and sore loser, among other things. What a great example to set for our children...

I truly think that sometime not long after Jan 20th, he's going to Tweet out more bullshit and Twitter is going to shut him down. They won't do it as long as he as POTUS, but once he's out it's gonna be an "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Seeeeya!" moment from them.

PS...I am also 100% positive that when they do, thousands of people will boycott Twitter in protest. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Seeeeeeeeeya! to those folks, too. :D

I wonder if someone is starting a shadow Twitter in anticipation of this, kind of like how Parler is becoming the Republican alternative to Facebook. Which will just further move us down the awful path of there being two completely different sources of information so there will be no consensus on the truth on basic issues. Which is kind of a problem...

But back to your point, Trump has clearly violated Twitter's terms of service and they are only letting him stick around since he is president. So he really should be kicked off once he is out of office. As the owner of some shares of Vanguard mutual funds, I have considered writing to them to pressure Twitter on this - Vanguard is the largest holder of Twitter stock (almost 10%). Not that that would get us anywhere...

I was hoping to start a movement. My Vanguard shares are barely enough to buy a few cardboard cutouts for a Duke football game so I'm not sure how much they will be listening to me. But if everyone reached out, then maybe we would get somewhere - I was hoping some financial heavy hitters were lurking here!

Sidney Powell's lawsuits are of the "So Bad It's Good" variety. This article eviscerates them, and it's hilarious.
And things only got worse from there. Much worse.

The two lawsuits, which are very similar to each other, reiterate more or less the same meritless claims that just got Rudy et al. unceremoniously tossed out of the Third Circuit. They seem to have been drafted by a spacebar-phobic first-year coming out the back end of a meth binge.

Consider this section of the legal background:
LegalBack.jpg

Or this compelling excerpt from the section titled “JURISDICTION ANDVENUE”:

ThejurisdictionoftheCourttograntdeclaratoryreliefisconferredby28U.S.C. §§ 2201 and 2202 and by Rule 57, Fed. R. Civ. P.

That kind of spacing problem recurs throughout. The document is practically unreadable.
