My Tigs

Post by weezie » October 7th, 2009, 4:07 pm

I know it isn't of paramount importance or interest but I am so bitter and bummed about my Detroit Tigers collapse this season.
I felt like "clocking" a dear friend this morning when she pointed out that we had "out-Metsed the Mets." :((
Poor old Detroit, always the reviled punchline. :(

Sometimes I wish I was consumed with a passion for collecting tea cups.

I mourned for you when I was the outcome of the game last night. I was pulling for the Tigers over the Twinkies.

I feel for ya', weezie. As a Red Sox fan, I do know how you're feeling today, although I will admit, it's been easier the past 5 years. I hope the Tigers get there soon.

All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.
