I feel old

Post by CathyCA » December 23rd, 2015, 11:41 am

I just learned that Christian Laettner's daughter will be attending Duke in the fall.

His DAUGHTER.

I am old.

I wasn't alive when Duke last won a bowl game, so I'm not feeling that old at the moment.

I was only 1 and didn't know what football was or where Duke was. I refuse to feel old.

Whenever I feel old, I remind myself that I watched "The Eagle has landed" and "One small step for [a] man . . . " happening live and then I don't feel so bad. Yes, I remember even though I was only 5 years old.
The time is out of joint, O cursed spite!
