All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Thanks! I'm fine but maybe a little sore. Think the new car was totaled. I was hit going through an intersection. Other driver says I ran a red light but I'm not sure. He hit us on the rear passenger side, at or near the rear wheel. I believe we spun, which probably means he was going well over the 30 mph speed limit. Side curtain air bag deployed on the passenger side. My passenger was jarred around more than I was. Leave it to me to be in a wreck while chauffeuring a big wheel scientist.

Sirry about you car but so glad that you and your passenger are just bumped and bruised. May the aches and pains go away quickly.
Life is good!

While it's plenty frightening for sure, all the hassle that ensues is really maddening as well. All the insurance paperwork, the car replacement. While it's a shame for your new car, it was probably a good thing you had it. I bet it protected you better than the old one would have. Keep us posted while we vibe!

Oh man. Mega vibes to you and the big wig scientist. (((((((((((((((((((((((((( )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
One thing we learned the hard way from Stevo's accident last week is to get in touch with the place where your car was towed right away. They didn't give Stephen a choice. The scam artists charged us $475 for towing and storage. I am livid. We don't know if the other driver's insurance will reimburse us for those costs or for the rental car. Sigh.
Take Aleve if you're not allergic and get lots of rest. So glad you're okay. Mwah!!!

Thanks, all! Physically fine but still a bit of a nervous wreck. Was supposed to get a rental car yesterday, but the only agency on the island claims they won't have anything until Monday morning. So, I'm stuck at home until then. Already had the lucky pizza delivered. The big game will be a welcome distraction.

You should probably stay home and chill anyway. How nice of the cheaters to invite the Devils over to play tonight for your viewing pleasure while you are doin' all that chillin'!
