Kicker Ross Martin and punter Will Monday will give us an advantage in the kicking game. Both were named to Preseason Watch lists:

Identifying kick and punt returners most certainly is a priority for the staff. Perhaps one of the youngsters such as Johnell Barnes or Terrance Alls will step up and earn time returning punts. Juwan Thompson has spent some time at kick returner and I have to wonder if the kick returning duties might be a way to get the ball in Shaquille Powell's hands.

I remember a couple years ago when poor ol' Will Snyderwine entered his senior season on watch lists and heaped with high expectations, only to have the most nightmare season imaginable. I don't see that happening again, but I won't feel comfortable until October, haha.
