I heard this on Sirius NFL channel today. I wasn't paying as much attention until I heard that, but I don't think he'll have Richardson...so, he'll have to deal with a lot of pressure. Honestly though, I think that's where he'll excel. I'm going to be a HUGE Brown's fan this week!

Did anyone watch the game? It was not televised in the DC market. Thad's stats were better than Roethlisberger's and he got some positive press for his play - http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.s ... ant_1.html.

Since it was a meaningless game it was not available unless you have a NFL package..so I missed it too. I saw that same article yesterday and it sounds promising. It is too bad about Shurmur, he is the reason Thad had a job this year. He knew how he played when both were in St. Louis; if it were any other coach Thad may have been cut before the season began.

Okay, it's not a start, but getting traded means on some level that someone wanted you....

Mark Watson is reporting on twitter that Thad Lewis was traded to the buffalo bills. If Tuel stinks it up, he may get a chance.

Thad just finished up his statement to make the Bills roster...

7 of 16 with 132 yards 8.3 yrds per attempt 1 TD (most came on his last pass, a 79 yrd deep pass for a TD)
Led the Bills in rushing with 51 yrds on 7 attempts - Gaskins a RB was next with 33 on 14 attempts

Matt Leinhart was the only other QB to play in the game....
3 of 10 for 11 yrds a 1.1 yrds per attempt and 2 INTs

I'd like to think GMs could figure out which one to keep with that performance, but you never know...

Honestly, I don't trust GMs. I think they keep people based on what their college was, as often as not. After all, if someone from Ohio St or USC or Alabama is a bust, no one blames the GM for picking them. If they pick someone from Duke, OTOH, ....
