Duke Vs. Miami

Post by CameronBornAndBred » November 20th, 2012, 10:41 am

I have no idea what to expect, other than we'll play tough and we'd love to close out at home with a victory (and a winning record!)

I posted some thoughts on the state of things overall on the front page.

I'm concerned about our defense and the injuries to the secondary. On offense, we should be able to score points and keep the pressure on Miami to respond, but the defense must get some stops and/or create turnovers. If Miami only punts once in the game, it will not be a good sign.

I attended the Miami game in 2010 and we played them competitively despite having six turnovers. We must take care of the football and score, score, score...........

I haven't been able to watch the game yet, will do so for the second half, but it doesn't look promising right now being down 28-10.

As good as I feel for our program, I feel much better for my other alma mater. While they have been helped by scheduling this year(not having to face the likes of Bama or LSU or Texas A&M) they are going for their 8th win of the season later today against the Demon Deacons.

Close but no cigar. Hate going into a bowl game with a 4 game losing streak.
