How Sweet do You Like Your Sweet Iced Tea?

I make a gallon of tea at a time. When the kids are with me, it's a gallon a day. Right now, I'm going through a little less than half a gallon a day.

I use a gallon of water, 4 Lipton tea bags and 1.5 cups of sugar.

My dentist loves me for it.

I currently drink unsweetened tea, because I believe in going big or going home, and if I drank tea the way I like it, I would definitely go big. I like sweet tea the way my Grandma made; a little tea and a LOT of sugar.

Most tea around these parts is sweet enough to rot your teeth, which is how most people around here like it. I'll mix that with some unsweetened before I can drink it. And I like straight iced tea with no sugar (and no lemon) in it too. And since I'm trying to watch my girlish figure, I'll order unsweetened tea and use Equal or Splenda (either the blue or the yellow stuff) in it (not the pink stuff though).

I am a native, BTW.

I like Kool-Aid, grape flavor, sweetened with Splenda and with Welch's grape juice added to give it a little extra 'body'.

I can't stand super sweet tea. I, like Ozzie, mix it sweet with unsweet tea. I also use lemon. Good stuff.

Super Sweet Tea almost will give you a Cavity thinking about it!
