It is a pain in my ass to everyday delete the onlsought of spammers we have signing up, so I am changing our registration policy so that an admin will have to activate new users. I'm usually close enough to my email to do this fairly quickly.
I hate spammers with a passion.

I will probably revert this on game days just to make it easier so people who sign up during games / Section 21 chat don't have a hassle.

It makes me chuckle that spammers would even want to sign up here. There are, what, 50 of us who are really active? And we all hate spammers. How could they think signing up would be worth their while?
But seriously, thanks for handling this, and I agree with your decision to change the procedure.

You do such a great job for us, CB&B. I hope this makes your job a little easier. Thanks for all you do.
