The video in that story is from their appearance at Knebworth and was included in Freebird: The Movie which is a must-see for any Skynyrd fan. Sadly, four of the band members on stage during that performance are now dead.

We had a rather stiff choir director at a church that shall not be named. His first name was Leonard, and his last name began with the letter S.

The kids always referred to him as Lynyrd Skynyrd.

After reading Leonard Skinner's bio, I believe that the two are related.
