iPod Question

Post by Lavabe » May 15th, 2009, 10:35 am

I am wanting to give away my 3-yr-old iPod video (60GB) to my colleague in Madagascar. It still functions great. My question is:
WHAT do I need to do before I give it away?

I mean, I know I need to delete all files. Do I have to tell Apple, so that registration can be in my colleague's name?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,

You don't need to tell Apple, they're not keeping track of anything significant like warranty. Follow this article and you are money: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339
