I liked the shenanigans on Betwitched more than I Dream of Jeannie. Captain Nelson was a tool.

I liked Bewitched, but the Darrin switch was a little weird. They never explained it, and it could have been done so easily: Endora got angry and changed his face.

Damn EJ, I thought this would be an easy pick, but I've come in to this thread about 5 times thinking I had the pick then I start thinking about both choices more and more and the decision becomes tougher. Both were wonderful and liked both (too bad that wasn't an option), but in the final analysis, I finally went with bewitched because I always liked the way she twinkled her nose! ;)

Ah yes. The Darrin Switch. Was it the show "Dallas" where a whole season turned out to be a dream? Both were horrible efforts in sitcom history. While Samantha and Bewitched was a good show, I had to go with Jeannie. I mean, guys, would you rather have a beautiful woman call you by your first name all the time; or would you rather have her refer to you as, "Oh Master!" ??????? ;)

I hear ya, but women had the power to say OOO, Master, however, Elizabeth Victoria Montgomery (aka bewitched) was a very dedicated wife and always remained composed and never did anything evil to Darren, where as Barbara and her evil seductive sister always put Larry Hagman in strange and precarious situations driven by anger/mood or mischievousness. I think Elizabeth (I love that name) had an innocent and sweet side but suspect there was a wild and crazy side although dedicated to her man. Surprising to me, she was married 4 times before passing in 95 at age 62.

That's what makes me mad about Jeannie. She thought Nelson was her master? Pathetic.

In truth, I absolutely and positively agree with all aspects of this post! Great points! Have you ever seen the Biography special on "Bewitched?" It's actually quite sad.
