OK, I found it. At the time CellR mentioned 9/9/09, there were 8203 posts in LTE 2.0. So with this one, we've posted in it 1340 times since the "challenge".

That's .87 posts per minute in the past almost 26 hours. Wonder if we can work up enough of a frenzy this afternoon/evening to get the average to one post per minute.

Unfortunately, we are losing some steam at the moment.

Trying to pitch in but I've got problems at work. Maybe I should just post until the problems go away. Is that possible?

We're all obsessing here on 9909. I'm wondering if we DO make it, can we coordinate it to stop for the rest of the day on this thread. It would really be cool if we could stay on 9909 until midnight. That would be truly impressive, but it would take a real coordinated effort, and we'd have to assign the person who gets the big one. Unless one of the mods could just lock it temporary.

I still wanna figure out how many posts have gone up since CellR inadvertently issued the challenge. By the time we finish, it'll be pushing 2000 in about 2 days (in LTE 2.0 alone).

I'm sure we'll blow right on through 10,000 sometime today/tonight, too.
